1. Committee Members present: Beth Berriman, Jon Butt, John Fazakerley, David Goodrich, Tristan Harris via video link, Lloyd Peters, Matt Southam, Mike Tonkin, Sarah Tregear
2. Ordinary Members present: Kay Fazakerley, Josef FitzGerald-Patrick, Ian Pye, Janet Pye, Darren Rundell
3. Apologies: Mark Travis
4. Time Trial News: The committee looked at the correspondence (see links below) from members of the SWCTT regarding the 2024 Cornish Cup and drafted a response which will be emailed to them.
The club will not be running time trials in 2025.
5. Awards evening raffle donation: Beth Berriman asked the committee to select a charity to donate the funds to; the Cornish Air Ambulance was nominated and carried by unanimous vote.
6. Group rides: Beth explained that she and Janet were running increasingly regular ladies rides that were well attended and also attracted social media interest. As these are now running well, she wondered if the club could start running and promoting some faster club runs too.
Jon suggested that more organisers are needed to facilitate other new ideas from club members.
7. Club Kit: Lloyd said that Endura were no longer making custom club kit but he would look into another supplier. There is still stock remaining of the last order of Endura kit and several members expressed satisfaction with it.
8. Club promotion: Beth suggested running a poster campaign to attract new members. There was general approval. Lloyd recommended keeping text succinct and finding the right image for the target audience, maybe using one provided by Josef, who thought an image demonstrating countryside and movement would suit. Jon thought Scott would be able to design.
9. AGM: Beth suggested holding the AGM at Ludgvan Community Centre and proposed a date of Tuesday 11th February though this was not agreed upon.
10.Diary Dates: Jon explained that Mark was unable to be present but wanted to run another charity ride in September.
11.Social: Various potential socials were discussed including curry, quiz and games nights. No dates were set.
12.A.O.B. : Jon will look into running another First Aid Course due to demand, potentially with some Wheal Velocity club members.
